TAAP has a new temporary home for July!
Beginning the week of June 29th, most TAAP classes will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan in Corvallis.
We’re pleased to be able to continue offering nearly all our regular programming while making only minor adjustments to class times. Our goal has been to provide as much consistency as possible for participants during this temporary situation.
Please plan to continue your current classes as close to the schedule as you can. If the schedule doesn’t work for you or if you see something new that you want to try, reach out to Abby, aguzman@arcbenton.org.
Please note:
- Most TAAP classes will now meet at the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan.
- Cermics will not be offered during July.
- Monday Games & Legos will be at the same time; new location is the Community Room at The Plaza (https://corvallisplaza.com/).
- Two new Tai Chi classes! We’re offering Tai Chi on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan from 10 am – 11am.
- Friday Tai Chi and Walk n’Roll will be at Crystal Lake Park with an earlier start time, 9am, for summer weather.
- A few dates have modified schedules or no classes. Please review the July schedule for details.
These location and schedule changes apply to July programming only. We’re grateful for everyone’s flexibility and support!

Due to an unexpected facility issue, TAAP classes at our usual location have been temporarily suspended while the situation is addressed. We are pleased to share that we have secured an alternative location so that we can continue providing services next week.
Schedule for the week of June 22–26:
• Monday, June 22 – All TAAP classes canceled
• Tuesday, June 23 – Thursday, June 25 – Day Support Activities (DSA) from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Church of the Good Samaritan, Simpson Hall (333 NW 35th Street, Corvallis)
• Friday, June 26 – All TAAP classes canceled
The schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be:
-10:30 – 11:30: Stretch & Walk
-11:30 – 12:30: Games
-12:30 – 1:30: Lunch & Chill
-1:30 – 2:30: Games
-2:30 – 3:30: Art
These activities will be provided and documented as Day Support Activities (DSA) services.
Participants are welcome to attend for all or part of the day. If they plan to attend during the lunch hour, we ask that they bring a lunch that is something which does need refrigeration or reheating.
The Arc of Benton County staff are contacting participants, families, and providers directly with additional information.
