SLLEDD
Smart Living, Learning, and Earning with Developmental Disabilities
SLLEDD is an ongoing program that supports adults with developmental disabilities in building life skills, confidence, and community connections.
Participants meet three days a week for hands-on classes and activities covering topics like money management, health and wellness, cooking, hygiene, self advocacy, and employment skills.
Funded through DSA hours in a participant’s ISP, SLLEDD focuses on creating lasting relationships and ongoing support so participants leave each day feeling empowered to live, learn, and thrive.
What makes SLLEDD unique? Based on the Smart Living, Learning, and Earning with Autism (SLLEA) curriculum developed in Eugene, SLLEDD has been thoughfully adapted by The Arc of Benton County to meet the diverse needs of local participants. Our curriculum offers multiple modes of learning and is individualized to support the strengths and needs of neurodiverse learners.
