The Arc Achievement Program (TAAP) in Lincoln County
The Arc Benton is currently offering guidance and governance to a burgeoning chapter of The Arc in Lincoln County. TAAP in Lincoln County is a community-based Day Supports Activities program supported by state funds, grants and donations from Lincoln County residents.
The TAAP program in Lincoln County creates access to community activities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants enjoy gathering with friends, playing games, and sharing new experiences to improve self-confidence.
If you are engaged with case management at the Lincoln County DD Services Program or a brokerage, The Arc TAAP may be added to your ISP, allowing you to attend for free.
If county services are not available to you, we can discuss a private pay option. Contact Nikki Holland at nholland@arcbenton.org or send us a message.

The Clubhouse at Frank V. Wade Park
Thanks to funding from the The Ford Family Foundation, Oregon Community Foundation and ARPA funds, The Arc has secured indoor space for continued activities in Lincoln County during the rainy winter days. Owned and operated by the Newport Parks and Recreation Department, participants enjoy ping pong, billiards, cards, and board games as well as various craft activities in the Clubhouse. Nearby tennis courts, baseball fields, and walking trails offer outdoor options when weather permits.
Our TAAP schedule is tentative and subject to change. TAAP members, please look for the weekly schedule and sign-up emails every Friday.
